SmartTEC performance monitoring assists operators with adjustments to machine controls to help improve efficiency and tracks the operational performance of the machine on a consistent platform across all machine models.
Digs a vertical trench on hills and slopes up to 10° when equipped with the auto tilt track option.
Features may include:
- Equipped for tough trenching jobs around the world, the T555 trencher is powered by a smooth-running 185-hp (138-kW) John Deere® PowerTech™ E Tier 3 or Tier 4 Final diesel engine
- It is available with a 4-ft, 5-ft, 6-ft or 8-ft (1.2-m, 1.5-m, 1.8-m or 2.4-m) trencher boom capable of trenching widths up to 24 in (61 cm)
- This trencher utilizes SmartTEC software, available on all Vermeer TEC® Plus computer-aided control system-equipped machines, which helps optimize productivity with real-time machine control prompts
