2025 Vermeer® Brush Chippers BC1000XL Tier 4 Final

Designed for the modern where you are, the BC1000XL offers a choice of Tier 4 Final engines — 49 hp or 74 hp (36.4 kW or 55 kW) — that comply with emission regulations.

Spend less time maintaining with a clutchless PTO system that helps prevent premature wear on the belt drive by only allowing engagement at low idle.

The BC1000XL comes with a 25-gal (94.6-L) fuel tank that lets you put in more hours before refueling.

The EcoIdle™ engine control system reduces engine speed to a preset lower rpm after one to five minutes of inactivity, saving fuel and reducing jobsite noise.

SmartFeed, a patented feed-sensing control system, boosts operator productivity and reduces engine strain by monitoring engine rpm and controlling feed rollers.

The patented bottom feed stop bar is strategically positioned so the operator can strike it to shut off the feed mechanism.
